Love You, Hate You

I love you for every little thing that you don't do:

I love you for not being there for me,
and I love you for not answering your phone.

I love you for disappearing for long periods of time,
and I love you for treating me like shit.

I love you for sleeping with other girls,
and I love you for using me whenever you like.

I love you for being such a dick,
and I love you for breaking my heart.

I love you for all of these reasons and more,
but most of all I love you for making me hate you.

I hate you for every little thing that you do:

I hate you for saying "I love you",
and I hate you for telling me you miss me.

I hate you for apologizing when you do something wrong,
and I hate you for holding me tight in your arms.

I hate you for keeping the promises you make,
and I hate you for making me feel special.

I hate you for not letting me go,
and I hate you for always coming back.

I hate you for telling me I'm beautiful,
and I hate you for kissing me with such passion.

I hate you for all of these reasons and more,
but most of all I hate you for making me love you.
